Chet Faliszek (Half-Life 2, Portal and Left4Dead Writer) Leaves Valve

The writer of Half-Life 2, Portal, and L4D, Chet Faliszek has left the studio after 12 years of his awesome work. 

Gameindustry.biz revealed, He (Faliszek) wrote on his departure:

"[It was] Nothing exciting or drama filled. I worked there 12 years, shipped a bunch of great games and some amazing hardware and wanted to change things up."

Faliszek had tremendous years at Valve and has contributed to the writing of masterpice titles, such as Half-Life 2, Portal and Portal 2 also Left 4 Dead and L4D2.


"I worked there for 12 years, shipped a bunch of great games and some amazing hardware and wanted to change things up," Faliszek said.

His writing partner Eric Wolpaw has left Valve earlier this year, also the writer of Half - Life Mark Laidlaw got departed last year, so recently Valve just had an exodus of writers, This further convinced the Half-Life fans that Half-Life 3 is just a dream.

Faliszek did not give further any details about his next career, he said: 


"There's no news on what's next," he said in his statement. "I will let you know when that happens."

We only wish Faliszek well and goodluck on whatever his next step and career.
